Talking architectures

Thinking about architecture and living inside it, inside time that passes, looking beyond, looking at other landscapes, other buildings, looking at people, searching for dialogue and hidden rules. Thinking about architecture as a place to feel good.

 

Enrico Pinna, architect. His research focuses on the constants in architecture through the changes from the Modern Movement to the trends of recent decades. In this sense are to be understood his books Impronte Tracks (Milan, Electa 1999) and Idee allo stato nascente (Milan, Electa 1995). Fulbright Scholar at Berkeley (California) in 1988; PhD in 1992; from 1994 to 2006 professor of building design and museography in Genoa; since 2009 lecturer of interior design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design and the Domus Academy in Milan. He has lectured in Bologna, Milan, Torino, Savona, Siena, Urbino, Berlino, Brno, Berkeley, Bursa, Grenoble, Tehran. 

Mariri Viardo lives and works in Genoa. In 1976 she graduated in Industrial Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, and in 1986 she graduated in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa. Together, they designed and built museums, cruise terminals, ships, hotels, sports facilities and residences, gaining recognition in national and international competitions and exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale in 2004 and the Milan Triennale 2005. In 2003 they founded the Cultural Association AMS (Architecture, Modernity and Science) that deals with the relationship between space and psyche, gathering experience in Europe and America.
